Seattle's Big Blog
The Seattle Big Blog is a big blog; it’s like the center of the Seattle PIs blogging area. Every subject you can imagine is covered—from science to features, it’s a plethora.
Its heavier on the graphics—i.e. photos, videos, etc… than words, the articles are all about brevity it seems, really simple blurbs about any given story or happening that’s going on.
Links up the ying-yang, from different newspaper and separate articles that are related to the specific topic are plentiful on this blog, I don’t think I noticed one entry that was lacking in linkage. But while this is really amazing to have links to different stories that are related to the topic—I think it is a little distracting from the actual information that the blog entry has to say.
This blog seems to be trafficked pretty frequently, it is linked under the blog section of the Seattle PIs website and allows for comments, facebook sharing, and twitter tweets. Although it seems that people comment minimally and tweet and facebook a smidgen more. Considering this is Seattle’s Big Blog I expect it get plenty of traffic maybe not as many as you’d expect.
